I recently checked my Facebook profile and was served up the most random collection of self serve ads.
None of these services are interesting or relevant to me (seriously a dance class with Maskim?) and I was actually slightly offend that this is what my generic interests lead their algorithm to assume that I am interested in.
Am I being a bit of a snob, yes, but since our Facebook profiles are supposed to be authentic representations of ourselves does this mean that at some level I categorized with discount seeking, pregnant, Dancing with the Stars fans?
